Also, your zoom button is misaligned such that it's underneath virtual radar. Something very strange is going on, on your device, to do with window layout and repainting.

I've rebooted the tablet and it's still happening.  If I don't open a panel to force the map to draw and just hit stop navigating the screen looks like this.  Like you say its not finishing the redraw.


This has been in 3.4.0.28118.  I've just noticed you posted 3.4.0.26498.  Installed but same thing.

I hadn't noticed that. It's strange, like the screen isn't updating views properly.

thats all I did.  panning didn't help justr popping out the notam, weather, etc panel.
I don't have my tablet with me to test again now after a reboot....I expect it will work though!
Notice also that the runway view in the right had end of the radar isn't drawing either..I've just installed the beta on my phone...problem doesn't occur but airfield info square is visible imediately on this route.

I'm trying to reproduce this here but so far without success. I put in the same route as you (Gloucester to Kemble) and a zoom level of 350k. I make sure that Track Up is the chosen map orientation for flight, then hit simulate. Nothing disappears. Should I be doing anything else?

Does the map reappear if you do a quick pan on it?

Open notam panel and it refreshes

zoom in and out didn't seem to do anything.  When I last saw everything OK I was at the hold and zoomed in to airfield level. 

When I was back home I set the georeferenced plate and hit the simulate button.  For a second I thought it did it again as the cart went blue but actually turned out to just be a slow re-draw and it was all OK....I haven't been able to reproduce it.

This is how things appeared. Breadcrumbs kept drawing OK...

What zoom scale were you at? Did you take a screenshot?

I started up at halfpenny green earlier. Chart was visible as was vector airfield layout. I opted to load georeferenced aip chart as taxi / hold labels not visible unless zoomed right in.....taxi was fine.....after take off I looked down to find magenta line, airctaft symbol and breadcrumbs.....gps data still ok but no chart data.....and tips to forcing chart to reload in flight? I resorted to rebooting skydeamon.
